Sequel to be released one month early

We still don’t know what the sequel to Wings will be titled, but we do know that it will be released one month earlier. Due to be released on May 4th, it has been put back one month earlier than was announced about a month ago. On top of this, the paperback version of Wings will also be released early on April 6th.

Aprilynne answers questions from fans about movie, sequel

Aprilynne has been answering questions on her blog about the new movie and the new book. She is clearly stating her full support for the casting decision by Disney to cast Miley Cyrus as Laurel, and claims she has no control over casting roles.

It is quite a vague interview, which doesn’t really give us the answers we want, but I guess we just have to wait until the new book comes out! You can check out the whole interview, here.

Wings Sequel Release Date Confirmed

Aprilynne Pike has just confirmed that the hotly anticipated sequel to Wings will be released on June 8th 2010.

She has not yet announced what it is going to be called, she said that the name has been finalized and then got ‘un-finalized’.

On top of this, apparently she is 15,000 words into the writing of the third book in the series!
